RESINEX WIDE RANGE FOR SPM
Resinex is able to provide the best complete solution for Single Point Mooring systems satisfying all the customers’ needs.
Resinex wide range for SPM is composed by deep water floats, pick-up buoys, floats for break-away coupling, floating Y pieces and reducers, winkerlights, lace-on hawser floats, mooring buoys for SPM, FSO, FPSO and FDPSO.
Deep water floats
Resinex has developed Deep Water Floats for Single Point Mooring Systems since the early sixties.
Previously manufactured in PVC then developed using roto-moulded linear
polyethylene, they operate on Calm buoys (Lazy-S or Chinese Lantern configurations) or SALM buoys and now also on FPSO and FSO Systems. Resinex products always comply with OCIMF rules.
Resinex manufactures three different types of deep water floats for Single Point Mooring Systems and FPSO-FSO Systems with various characteristics and performances. The standard floats cover a range of internal diameter adaptations from 240 mm to 970 mm and a range of net buoyancy from 32 kg to 430 kg.
The three types of deep water floats are Hinged, Grooved and Bolted.
The Hinged type is equipped with a heavy duty stainless steel metallic part, which through a system of softerners, allows the float to follow the movement of the internal pressure of the hose. Therefore, the security of the line is even more guaranteed. Moreover, it is a float able to adapt to a second structure assembly, since it allows a very opening angle.
The Grooved float is the most functional and resistant. It has been drawn to guarantee heavy-duty performances. Above all, it is a float with very high buoyancy capabilities.
The Bolted float is a perfect combination of the resistance to impacts of the Grooved float and the extraordinary hydrodynamics. Also in this case the buoyancy is elevated.

Deep floats
Resinex deep water floats are studied to give the best tightening performance on the float mounts of hoses and on the clamps of risers. Tightening can be obtained directly or through rotomoulded reducers assembled on the float itself.
Their particular shape has been studied to allow the higher bending of hoses and risers.
The Hinged solution adopted by each Resinex type of floats,maximized by the Hinged type,facilitates all the assembling procedures that can be made also underwater.
In case of underwater installation, Resinex supplies plate sinkers to give neutral buoyancy to the float.
Pick-up buoys
Used in the oil fields, these buoys come from the origin of the oil industry at sea.
They can be in rigid polyethylene or often in polyethylene foam and elastomer polyurethane.
Floats for break away coupling
Very crucial product for the safety of SPM lines, our floats for break away coupling are able to fit any type of BAC.
They have a special movable adaptor designed by our technical department.

Mooring buoys for SPM, FSO, FPSO and FDPSO
Resinex is the manufacturer of the widest and most complete range of mooring buoys in the marine world and it is transferring its know-how and experience towards the new FSO, FPSO and now also the FDPSO systems.
To meet their specific needs and requirements, our customers are able to choose from a series of products that range from 3 kilograms to over 120 tons nett buoyancy thanks to modularity.
The buoys are modular in construction, this makes them unsinkable and extremely adaptable to the needs of the customers. This modularity gives also opportunity to reduce transportation costs of maxi buoys that can be shipped in container and assembled on site.
Moreover the use of first rate raw materials guarantees the solidity, long life and collision resistance of the Resinex buoys.
Resinex products give a high level of versatility and a reduction of the maintenance to a minimum.
