In January 2024, Resinex supplied Allseas with 10 tie-in floating modules for a project in the Dutch North Sea. These modules, designed to operate at a depth of 20 meters and with a net buoyancy of 4500 kg each, demonstrate Resinex’s technical excellence and innovation in the deployment float sector.

The N05-A project, located approximately 20 kilometers north of the Schiermonnikoog and Borkum islands, represents the largest Dutch investment in natural gas in the past 15 years. Its goal is to deliver a reliable and cleaner energy supply to households and businesses in the Netherlands and Germany.

The project involves the transportation and installation of two 15-kilometer pipelines, essential for connecting the innovative extraction platform, powered by offshore wind energy, to the existing NGT network near the town of Uithuizen.

Our buoyancy solution supports the installation operations, ensuring stability and reliability under challenging subsea conditions.

The pipelines, installed by Allseas’ vessel Lorelay, exemplify technical innovation and sustainability. The N05-A platform not only produces natural gas in a more environmentally friendly way but is also designed to accommodate future technologies such as green hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage (CCS).
