Resinex in 2012/2013 supplied floats for the positioning of the Offshore lines (user Saipem) and for the positioning in depth in the Liwan oil field.
The Far East, despite the global economic crisis continues to be in great turmoil for the exploration of natural gas in ultra deep waters.
The Liwan offshore field , where the operator is Husky Oil China , and its twin project Panyu field ( main partner CNOOC ) are considered the main Chinese energy investments in recent years. Regarding Liwan , Resinex in 2012/2013 has been involved in both the supply of floats used in the positioning of offshore lines (user Saipem), both in realization of the floats that remain permanently in depth for the duration of the gas production of the field (user CNOOC).
Were provided buoyancy floats of various sizes and with changes of use from 200 meters up to 1500 meters depth. In this case the pressure tests carried out by Resinex in its test facility of Adro have arrived up to 2200 meters. Due to the success of its products in the twin field of Liwan , in 2013 Resinex received the request of the same types of floating also for the project Panyu Gas Field where the operator is Devon Energy and CNOOC remains the main partner.
