For several years, Resinex has studied and developed floating systems for every need (signalling, mooring and monitoring) and of different dimensions.
The fact that they are used in deeper and deeper conditions, the great number of bigger and bigger ships following international routes, the request for more complex functions to our products all this has moved us to design and manufacture bigger and bigger models. Here are the Jumbos. And there are different jumbos for every different group of products.
This Tie-in system is a jumbo, too it is, in fact, 1.2 metres in diameter and 6 metres in length. It has a net buoyancy of 4.460 kilos and has been tested down to a depth of 140 metres. Customer: Saipem Italy.
Here under you can see a big Support Buoy with a 72.000 kgs buoyncy (it is 4.3 metres in diameter and 10 metres in height). It is used in the Norwegian sea at an effective depth of 60 meters. Operation time: 30 years.
In 1996 we manufactured this Support Fenderized Buoy for the Gulf of mexico. It has a buoyancy of 28 tons.
