Since 1961, at the dawn of the offshore oil industry, Resinex has always been one of the world leaders in the marine equipment industry. The wide range of products and the high level of versatility give Resinex the capability to satisfy both small and big customers of the world seas.
The administrative headquarter is in the centre of Milan and the 3 plants for the production and testing are located near Brescia, in Northern Italy. At the end of 2022 Resinex acquired all the CoSeMa’s activities. CoSeMa is a company founded in 1986 in Pesaro and specialized in the manufacturing of lanterns and electronic devices for Navigational Aids, thus expanding the wide range of products.
Resinex exports more than 75% of its production to the main oil producer countries and to the major ports of the world.
Resinex invented and developed some of the major innovations in the field of mooring systems and navigational aids. For example, the first elastic beacon in the world was produced by Resinex in 1972.
The first deep water floats in the world built for SPM systems were designed, developed and manufactured by Resinex already in the sixties.
The first modular catamaran buoys were installed in the early seventies.
Resinex still maintains a leader position in the manufacturing of the products invented and is increasingly strengthening its presence in the production of ultra deep water systems: the pressure tanks in the Resinex Adro laboratory test up to 9500 metres of depth.
Resinex Quality System is certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance following ISO 9001 standards.
We are member of Iala Aism and all our navigational aids products are designed following their recommendations.
Resinex is member of IAPH – International Association of Ports and Harbors, a global alliance representing over 180 members ports and 140 port related businesses in 90 countries.
