Saipem America has chosen Resinex ultra deep floats for the pipe laying program of his CastorOne vessel in the Gulf of Mexico.
Resinex has designed and supplied special floats for the verticalization at a depth of 2000 meters of the grommets and slings used during the installation of the pipelines for Saipem in the Gulf of Mexico
Between 2013 and 2014 CastorOne will work in Jack–St.Malo, Big Foot and Keathley Canyon oil fields.

Each module has 400 kg nett buoyancy andhas been composed in 400, 1200, and 2400Kg nett buoyancy floats. Always at 2000 mt underwater. The floats were produced at Resinex Ultra Deep Production Unit of Torbiato Adro (BS) and tested up to 220 bar at the Resinex Marine Center of Adro.
