3. What are the main types of cookies?

The art. 122 of the Privacy Code, whereby “the storage of information in the terminal device of a contractor or a user or the access to information already filed is permitted only if the contractor or the user has given his consent after having been informed with the simplified procedures as per article n. 13 of EU regulation 679/2916.
Session and persistent cookie
Session cookies contain the information that is used in your current browser session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. Nothing is stored on your computer beyond the time of use of the site (ASP.NET_SessionId and language).
The persistent cookies (ASPXANONYMOUS type) are used to maintain the information that is used in the period between one access and another to the website, or used for technical purposes and to improve the navigation on the website.
