In 2004, Shell in the Far East asked Resinex to supply them with specially designed and tailor-made buoys. There were buoys of 1200 mm diameter and variable lengths with a buoyancy from 1800 to 3200 kg.
The body of the buoy, which is in steel and polyurethane foam, is protected from collision by polyethylene foam and elastomer.
