Unsinkable and resistant to chemical agents, our light buoys for maritime signalling usually have an external part of linear polyethylene filled with polyurethane foam.
The buoys are fitted with radar reflectors. Led lamps are used for luminous signalling up to 15 nautical miles. They are fed by a solar panel system which guarantees autonomy.
According to the size of the float and the system of mooring, the buoys can be used both in shallow waters and open sea, in all sea conditions and currents.
The jumper mooring can be employed in protected marine areas, in case of delicate underwater ecosystems and in ultradeep locations: it impedes the chain from dragging on the seabed and also increases the surface tension, neutralizing the traction of the buoy on the concrete sinker.
